Born Free - An exhibition to commemorate sixty years of India's Independence - 13th-15th April 2007, Radisson Hotel, New Delhi-110037.
The mature generation of Indian Artists has seen the emergence of a free India after the Independence struggle and experienced the trauma of the partition. They had experienced the subsequent euphoria leading to disillusionment later. The Gen-Next artist of Resurgent India had no such experience but had grown up in an environment of struggle and changing values at a pace unknown earlier. They had been exposed to the best in Eastern and Western Art Forms and Values. Habiart will focus on this generation of Artists born after independence.
Indian Splendor - 1st-15th August 2007 - Los Angeles, U.S.A.
The School for Theatre, Film and TV, UCLA, in association with MCORP Global is presenting Indian Splendor a panorama of films, music, dance, arts, theatre and fashion, spanning six days this summer (10-15 August 2007), with feature films, short films, and post-screening discussions with actors, filmmakers, casts and crews. Red carpet events, networking dinners, opening night screening & party complete the celebrations.
Habiart Foundation will be presenting an exhibition at New Wight Gallery, University of California, Los Angeles from 1st to 15th August, 2007 showcasing contemporart fine art through the presentation of a significant collection of 100 high-quality works by artists of Indian Sub Continent! |
